Indian tennis personality Sania Mirza, is appears for her performance in the Commonwealth Games which will be commenced from 3rd October in New Delhi. According to the information available in Times of India, Sania have criticized about her old wrist problem which occurs last month during her first round loss in Dubai Tennis Championship.
Sania commented during her press meeting in Kolkata that she will definitely perform in Commonwealth Games but due to her injury was not able to practice. So, when will recover from the injury, then she will surely start playing.
Sania inaugurated a tennis society in Pailan World School. She also wishes the Indian hockey team for their reliable performance in Hockey World Cup. She added that they are doing a wonderful job and it was a true fun watching their hockey match.

Australia has showed their satisfaction towards the security arrangements constructed for Commonwealth Games 2010 and for Indian Primer League tournament, which is going to start on March 12.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vishnu Prakash both the country is in contact with each other concerning the security of the games. Australian teams are here and they have shown full support and approval at the security managements.
Smith planned to meet S.M. Krishna, External Affairs Minister, on Wednesday in order to hold discussion with executives to acquire every relevant detail and also to counsel regarding the security management as per the games concerned. Though he has also admired the arrangements and is waiting for a peaceful match between India – Australia at Major Dhyan Chand national stadium.

The Commonwealth Games received a major amount of Rs 2,296.43 from the Finance Ministry today for the multi-sports event. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee owned the amount to the different units in order to recover the dropping arrangements of CWG.
Other then all this Commanwealth Organising Committee got Rs 1175.54 crore, the Sport Authority of India and sports group got Rs 377.92 crore, the Union Urban Development Ministry got Rs 176.90 crore and the Delhi government Rs 50 crore.
Accordingly, Delhi Police also got a share of Rs one lakh from the finance ministry for paying the included defense resolution.

The Organizing Committee of commonwealth games has released an ecological Code on Wednesday in an effort to host the first ever green Commonwealth Games. Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dikshit has formally released the code that will draw the environmental image of the organizing team. She said that it would take some time to make the Yamuna river city completely pollution free. It is a very big project and a river cannot be cleaned in such a short period of time. She stated that the project work is underway.
The code will define the impact of the games on land, energy, water, waste and air. Besides all that some of the measures have also been taken to control the level of the carbon emissions during the sporting event.
